Registration

Registration is required for most classes and can be made in person at the Midwest Gun Club, or by phone, during normal business hours. Some classes offer a special rate with a pre-registration deposit.

All class balances must be paid, in full, prior to end of the first day of class. Class certificates will not be released to any student with an outstanding balance.

Cancellation

We understand that life happens. If you are unable to attend a class that you have pre-registered for please contact us prior to the class to make alternative arrangements. If possible, we will schedule you for a alternate class that works better with your schedule, otherwise your deposit will be returned to you.

Deposits will not be returned for students who do not notify us at least a day in advance that they are unable to attend the class.

Class Size

The minimum class size is 3 students. If you are excited about taking one of our classes please encourage your friends to attend the class with you to ensure that classes are conducted. In the rare case that we do have to postpone a class due to insufficient class size, pre-registered students will be given the choice to take the next class or receive a refund of their deposit.

Attendance

Please be on-time and ready for class. Students are encouraged to appear at least 15 minutes prior to class. It will be instructor's discretion as to whether or not late students will be admitted.

Class breaks will be taken as needed with the all day classes taking an additional break for lunch. To keep the momentum of the class flowing, students are asked to return from breaks on-time.

Facility

The Midwest Gun Club is a NON-SMOKING facility and operates in compliance with all Ohio public smoking laws. Violations of our smoking policy are taken very seriously.

A snack and beverage machine is available for munchies during the breaks. There is also a Minute Mart within short walking distance for additional refreshments. Food and beverage is allowed in the class as long as it does not disrupt the operation of the class (rustling bags, strong smells, etc. should be avoided).

Equipment & Safety

Safety is our number one priority! All students will be required to sign a Midwest Gun Club liability waiver and agree to abide by all posted Range Rules.

The Midwest Gun Club reserves the right to inspect any firearms to be used in our classes to ensure safe operation. In the rare case where a firearm is declared to be unsafe, the student will be allowed to use one of the Midwest Gun Club rental firearms for the class at no additional choice (ammunition not included).

Safety equipment will be available for the class at no additional charge. Eye and Ear protection must be worn at at all times while on the range.
