Registration

Starting March 2008 all classes must be paid for in advance when registering. Students can register in person at the Midwest Gun Club or by phone at 330-854-7700 during normal business hours.

Cancellation

We understand that life happens. If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for please contact as soon as possible to make arrangements for an alternative class date. If we are unable to find a suitable alternative date we will refund the full amount of the class registration for any cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the starting day of class. Otherwise, any cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the starting day of class will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Class Size

The minimum class size is 3 students. If you are excited about taking one of our classes please encourage your friends to attend the class with you to ensure that classes are conducted. In the rare case that we do have to postpone a class due to insufficient class size, registered students will be given the choice to take the next class or receive a refund of registration fee.

Attendance

Please be on-time and ready for class. Students are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class. It will be the instructor's discretion as to whether or not tardy students will be admitted. Students who are refused by the instructor for being tardy, are more than 30 minutes late for any class or fail to attend any day of class without prior arrangements will forfeit the full amount of the class registration.

Class breaks will be taken as needed with the all day classes taking an additional break for lunch. To keep the momentum of the class flowing, students are encouraged to return from breaks on-time. Students who are frequently or excessively tardy returning from breaks may, at the instructor's discretion, be removed from the class and will forfeit the entire amount of of the class registration.

This attendance policy is meant to allow students to maximize their learning time and experience. Tardy and/or late students disrupt the rhythm of the class and infringe on the students who attend the class on schedule.

Facility

The Midwest Gun Club is a NON-SMOKING facility and operates in compliance with all Ohio public smoking laws. Violations of our smoking policy are taken very seriously.

A snack and beverage machine is available for munchies during the breaks. There is also a Minute Mart within short walking distance for additional refreshments. Food and beverage is allowed in the class as long as it does not disrupt the operation of the class (rustling bags, strong smells, etc. should be avoided). We do not offer any coffee on-site but there is a Marathon, McDonald's and Minute Mart within walking distance of the range.

Equipment & Safety

Safety is our number one priority! All students will be required to sign a Midwest Gun Club liability waiver and agree to abide by all posted Range Rules.

The Midwest Gun Club reserves the right to inspect any firearm to be used in our classes to ensure safe operation. In the rare case where a firearm is determined to be unsafe, the student will be allowed to use one of the Midwest Gun Club rental firearms for the class at no additional choice (ammunition not included).

Safety equipment will be available for the class at no additional charge. Eye and Ear protection must be worn at at all times while on the range.
